About Us

Debra has been practicing audiology for 35 years, and has worked primarily in a hospital setting. Debra earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Communication Disorders from the College of Saint Rose. She continued her education at Syracuse University where she earned her Master’s Degree in Audiology and her Doctor of Audiology from Central Michigan University. Debra has years of experience and knowledge in audiology and is fluent in Sign Language.

Debra understands the effects hearing loss can have because she wears hearing aids herself. She has first-hand experience with hearing loss and relates to her patients on a personal level. Debra enjoys helping patients communicate with their families. Better hearing isn’t just about being able to hear, it’s about enhancing human connections. Debra works with patients of all ages – including children. She is knowledgeable about the different types of hearing loss, hearing aids, and even cochlear implants. Debra volunteers her time working in the Albany community by performing hearing screenings. She also works closely with the Hearing Loss Association of America, Albany chapter.
